Wood frames are built from seven to eight laminated wood wafers, layered and bonded before being shaped using precision computer-controlled tools and then hand-finished to bring out the natural grain. Buffalo horn temples require an impressive three full days of handwork per pair — shaping, smoothing, and polishing a material that cannot be rushed. Every frame is inspected at each stage of production, from shape cutting and varnish sanding to final polish, and is hand-assembled, adjusted, and approved by experienced quality controllers before it leaves the workshop.
